Ciater Hot Spring
Ciater Hot Spring, The village of Ciater is well known for its natural hot spring and famous tourist destination, the source of sulphuric water which is reputable for its efficacy to cure various disease like paralysis, rheumatism, nerve and bone diseases and other skin diseases under consultation and supervision of doctor specialist. Approximate distance is 27.3 km or 1 ½ hours by car from Crowne Plaza Bandung, depends on the traffic condition.
Tangkuban Perahu is a volcano located 30 km north of the city of Bandung. It is a popular tourist attraction where tourists can hike or ride to the edge of the crater to view the hot water springs and boiling mud up close. The name translates roughly to “upturned boat” in Sundanese, referring to the local legend of its creation and the shape of the volcano that looks like an upside down boat.

Kawah Putih (English: White Crater) is a striking crater lake and tourist spot in a volcanic crater about 50 km south of Bandung. The lake is 2,430 meters above sea level so the local climate is often quite chilly (temperatures are frequently around 10 degrees Celsius). Kawah Putih is a sizeable highly acid lake (pH 0.5-1.3) which changes colour from bluish to whitish green, or brown, depending on the concentration of sulfur and the temperature or the oxidation state.The sand and rocks surrounding the lake have been also leached into whitish colours through interaction with the acidic lake waters (with possible mineral precipitation as well).
Saung Udjo, one stop cultural workshop was established in January 1967 by Mang Udjo (literally meaning ‘uncle Udjo’). Saung Angklung Udjo rapidly became an important tourism destination in Indonesia and Bandung itself. Beside the angklung performance, the Saung has also a display room selling hand-made craft souvenirs such as the angklung, wayang golek (wooden puppets), Sundanese blangkon – traditional hats made of batik textiles – and other bamboo handicrafts.
